Economic Development & Workforce Readiness
We must continue to bring good paying jobs to Muncie. In order to attract these new businesses to Muncie, we need to invest in our workforce through training programs as well as rehabilitation for those who are suffering from substance abuse.
Roads & Infrastructure
We need to invest in our roads and other infrastructure to make sure it is built to last. We cannot continue kicking the can down the road by filling the same potholes year after year.
Town & Gown Ball State University and Ivy Tech Community College are massive resources in our city. We must work to ensure equal partnerships with Ball State, Ivy Tech, and our community as a whole.
Cyber Bullying & Mental Health
Increasingly, people of all ages are victims of cyber bullying. Victims struggle to cope with the attacks that are often hidden from view online but brought into the classroom and workplace. We must support legislation to strengthen penalties and to offer increased mental health counseling in our schools and communities.

Mr. Basham always encouraged us students and challenged us, as well. But more importantly he cared. I’m definitely supporting Mr. Basham and will make sure everyone I know is to vote for him too.

Dale Basham would be an excellent person for this job. He genuinely cares about people. He is a very humble man who taught me a lot while I was in high school and during my pregnancy at 15. He helped me through a lot.
